"In the Ditch" is the second of two 'ditch'-themed songs I wrote in 2010, the other being the rocker 'Ditch Kids' (you can hear that at the Reverbnation link below). This one takes on an entirely different musical atmosphere than 'Ditch Kids' but keep the same lyrical inspiration from the Ditch dogs. Yes, that's a melodica in the break.
